BEWARE – COPY Floortrax Pit Garage Flooring

Across Europe there are one or two companies that are offering a copy of our proven Floortrax Race Flooring in an attempt to draw business away from the real product. This flooring is only capable of being laid down once and not taken up again as it will instantly break into individual tiles. It is a weak tile and not designed to take air jacks etc., even though it is being claimed they can. Please note that this tile is NOT ours and is nothing to do with us. Apart from the fact it weighs nearly 300grammes less than our race floor per tile.it has no anti-static ingredients and very little UV properties in the tile. IT IS ALSO NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OUR TILE. You can spot the difference between the tiles very easily. The surface of the real Floortrax Race Tile is flat and not rounded. This denotes this a race tile that has a heavier compound to help it withstand the rigours of trolley jacks etc.

Showtrax International are the only company in the world that manufacture the proper Floortrax Race Tile.

The Floortrax Trolley

Manufactured, utilising a sturdy aluminium chequer plate base and mild steel framework, the Floortrax Trolley is a quick, robust way of storing and transporting flooring. The nylon castor wheels (2 of which have locking brakes) will take the weight of 100 sq. metres of flooring. Can be powdercoated to colour of choice.

Floortrax™ can be laid quickly in slabs of 6 tiles and requires no tools for laying down or removing.

All new flooring will now be supplied with Anti-Static properties ensuring that computer telemetry and other electrically sensitive equipment will not be way be affected in any way.

We now have 11 standard colours; dark grey, light grey, red, black, reflex blue, powder blue, yellow, brown, green, and silver. However, using the RAL colour guide we can manufacture virtually any colour. New for 2006 is an ‘Aluminium’ colour.

The Expansion Joint

If you are constructing large areas of flooring for hospitality or car displays etc., the expansion joint will ensure that the floor does not force its way apart. This can happen where it is very hot during the day and very cold at night. The joint will alllow the floor to move and keep stable under extreme conditions.
